HELLO TO EVERYONE!
I'm having my block leave now, passed out from BMT only a week ago.
It's been awhile since i written anything here, not that i do not want to. There's simply no motivation to do so because booking out time has always been very tight.
You leave on saturday, you return on sunday. simple as that.
It's been one heck of a two months in tekong, i'm glad that i made a few good friends among many. im glad..
Let me just recap; the 24km route march tests your mental strength more than anything else. we had to get up at 3 in the morning and get our march started from 5am right up to approx 1pm.
Tiring enough? the commanders do not think so...
We had to finish off by performing a graduation parade infront of our loved ones, RIGHT after our route march. okay so my right after refers to about 2 hours later. STILL? ):
A couple of recruits fainted during the parade.. i wonder why! to be frank.. it wasn't as tiring as i presumed. far from it.
I'm glad i made it through.. in one piece. through the jungles.. through the mud.. through the slopes and back to the parade square. i felt a sense of achievement.. the night's rest that followed was outstanding.
What lies ahead of me now? I DO NOT KNOW.
my once so sought after goal of being a commander was wiped out by the failed FFI. to add salt to wound. i've been told by my sergeants that i've been pushed for OCS. like does it help? no.
I've been excused from IPPT. people laughed at this excuse.. they laugh. good news is.. i'm IMMUNED.
Where will i be posted? I DO NOT KNOW.
Infantry? Signal? Armour? Medic? Military Police? Clerk?
clerk now seems nice.. since i won't have a chance to step foot into SISPEC or OCS.
clerk it shall be. first on the top of my praying list tonight.
bye!
